For all you photography enthusiasts out there, or if you want to get stared with photography, below are some of the sites I frequent for tips and ideas. The tips range from how to choose a camera and to camera techniques, to do-it-yourself (DIY) projects. They all have RSS feeds that I use to keep up with them.
- Digital Photography School - This is my favorite photography site so far. The content includes helpful tips, weekly assignments, and features a photo blog and interview with the author each week. The archive is a great place to start for the basics.
[Samples: 10 Ways to Add Variety to Your Digital Photography] - Photojojo - A photography online newsletter with Photo tips, Do It Yourself projects, and Gear information. This site is great for ideas that will inspire you to go take some pictures!
[Sample: Create a Photo Time Capsule] - Epic Edits - A Roundup of the Noteworthy Photography News, Blogs, Tips, and Tricks
[Sample: Night + Camera + Car = ART] - photoaxe.com - Photo tips and digital camera reviews
[Sample: How to Make a Killer Photo using 8 Simple Composition Rules] - Digital Camera University - Find how-to’s, creative ideas, tutorials, and easy to follow digital camera tips, all to help you create higher quality digital photos.
[Sample: Depth of Field Video Tutorial] - 26 Things - This is not really a tips site, but this photographic scavenger hunt is a great source of inspiration.
This is just the tip of the iceburg of what is out there. I’ll try to collect and post the best tips I find from all these feeds, especially of tehniques I try. In the meantime, you can keep up with all my photography links at http://del.icio.us/kitzzy/photography
